If there’s one thing I know about fashion, it’s how difficult it can be to put together outfits that are comfortable, stylish and WARM in the winter. Especially living in a state like Minnesota, where it’s cold 99.9% of the time, stepping out in practical and fashionable attire can be a huge challenge. Luckily over the years, however, from multiple Pinterest searches, experimenting and simply getting sick and tired of looking frumpy in the winter, I finally have a handle on “winter business casual”.
Essentially, the key here is layers, mixing soft and hard textures, l a y e r s, sprinkle of standout accessories, and oh yeah, LAYERS. 😉 My biggest recommendation is investing in a few winter staples you're able to create multiple different outfits with. For example, a long coat, ginormous blanket scarf, warm gloves and waterproof boots. By having these warm "go-to's", anything you piece together will feel instantly more trendy without freezing your booty off at the same time!
So, if you're looking for some snowy inspo, peep the photos above for my favorite "winter business casual" look. Like always, all of the links to what I'm wearing will be down below and sound off in the comments below what your favorite winter accessory is. Stay warm out there hauties! ❄️
