Believe or not, I have lived in Minnesota for almost seven years now and have NEVER been to Duluth. It is a port city on Lake Superior about two and a half hours north of the cities and pretty much everyone I meet in Minnesota has been there at least once. That being said, my roommates and I figured it would be the perfect spot for a little weekend getaway!
Surprisingly, we were able to book the cutest, most affordable Airbnb for a couple nights on the peninsula near downtown. It had a trail in the backyard leading right to the beach and was equipped with a full kitchen, super comfy beds and a private patio area. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a spot in Duluth to crash! 😊
It was quite chilly when we were up there, unfortunately, but we ended up making the most of it by going on the most relaxing walk, practicing long boarding on the boardwalks around downtown and eating some bomb takeout. Yes, we all purchased longboards cause #quarantinehobby and are still learning! Hit me up if you have any experience and can show us the ropes. 😂 Anyhoo, links to everything I'm wearing for our day in Duluth can be found, below. Till next time hauties!
